In 2005 I was introduced to Blacksmithing by my father. By 2009 I was seriously deciding to pursue Blacksmithing, and by the Spring of 2010 I began honing my new craft! I made a decision early on to provide quality items at a affordable price. Whether it is a hammer, knives, chisels or teaching a class. What you get from Rusty Hammer Forge is quality, old world work with a new age feel at a reasonable price.
Materials I use in my shop:
Repurposed High Carbon Steels: leaf spring, coil spring, mower blades, bandsaw blades, car and truck axels
New Steels: 4140 High carbon, mild steel
Woods: Oak, Walnut, Maple, Plum, Pine, Fur
Non-Ferris Materials: Aluminum, Copper
Let me make your next family heirloom!
